How do I measure my feet for the 5-day Shoe workshop?
Measurements are required for the 5-day Shoe workshop only. Once you've booked your place on a workshop we will email you pdf instructions on how to measure your feet. I've also created a video guide. Be sure to send me your feet measurements by snail mail at least 2 weeks in advance of your workshop as I'll be creating pre-prepared patterns for you.
What are the last (shoe form) options for the 5-day Shoe workshop?
Lasts are the shoe forms that shoes are made on. They come in a huge variety of shapes and sizes! Using your style ideas AND your measurements and the pictures you send me I'll select a last from my collection. However, if you'd like to browse through our entire collection of lasts please check out our 'Last Range' catalogue and let me know which last you'd prefer. If you're unsure I recommend a dress last from our collection.

There is free parking available on the residential streets north of Shoe School.
How do I find your workshop?
The workshop is located at 247 Riddiford St, the main street of the suburb of Newtown. Buses regularly stop in Newtown from the CBD and I recommend using the Wellington bus journey planner - www.metlink.org.nz The airport is a 15 minute drive from the workshop.
